Another special Modern Peranakan Cuisine!

This cafe is betol betol unique—it’s literally someone’s house! The couple, Inche Sam sama Bibik Jenny, opened this cozy spot back in 2009, right under their own home at 12F Andrews Ave, Singapore 759930.

The dining area has this charming “rustic” vibe, complete with 1980s rock band posters on the walls. At night, the lampu-lampu terkelip-kelip (twinkling lights) make it feel like you’re dining under the stars. “Cantik betol!”

What’s on the Menu: Traditional Meets Modern

Woody’s Family Cafe serves both traditional Nyonya dishes and modern creations—something for everyone!

• Buah Keluak Chicken Assam Burger: This one’s a must-try! The burger is manyak juicy, blending traditional buah keluak flavors with a modern twist.

• Signature Buffalo Wings: Betol sedap, but jaga dia mia pedasan! These wings pack a spicy punch—perfect for those who love heat.

• Teriyaki Smoked Duck Pizza: If you’re in the mood for something with an Italian flair, this pizza is memang ngam. The smoked duck and teriyaki sauce combo is chef’s kiss!

• Pork Belly Satay & Nasi Ulam: For those who want a more traditional bite, their satay babi sam-chien (pork belly satay) and Nasi Ulam are super refreshing—“betol boleh segair diri!”

• Enokimush: Our absolute favorite! These crispy, golden enoki mushrooms are addictive, especially when chelop sama jorang mia sambal (dipped in their sambal).

To “kasi chuchi mulot” (cleanse the palate) after the meal, we had their Yakult Soju, which was the perfect finishing touch.

The Secret to Their Delicious Dishes

Bibik Jenny told us that “hari-hari sebelom terang tanah”(everyday before sunrise) she prepares all the rempah-rempah (spices) and buys fresh meats at the market. No wonder the food is wangi (fragrant) and sedap sekali! You can really taste the love and effort in every bite.
